Croydon Practice 119 Tunstall Road

Who Do I Work With?

You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy.

You may be struggling with anxiety, relationships, anger, loss or simply feeling stuck. Perhaps you're good at getting on with things, but underneath you're overwhelmed, disconnected or repeating patterns you don't quite understand.

I also work with people who find it difficult to talk about how they feel, including men who may be more used to carrying things alone.

Wherever you're starting from, we can begin there.

What is therapy with me actually like?

I'm a Gestalt psychotherapist, which means I'm interested in more than just the story of what has happened to you. I'm also curious about what is happening for you now.

We might notice what happens in your body, the feelings that are difficult to express, or the ways you pull away, shut down or protect yourself when something feels uncomfortable.

I won't tell you how to live your life or expect you to have the right words. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm and sometimes gently challenging.

Together, we can slow things down, become curious about what's happening and explore whether there might be another way.
